About

I create theatre that feels purposeful. I am drawn to shows that are meaningful and produced with care. The work should hold the audience's attention and stay with them after the performance. It does not need to provide answers, but it should feel clear in its intent.

I value ensemble work. I care about performers being fully immersed in the play’s world and connected to one another. Technical ambition has a place, but it must support performance rather than compete with it. I am interested in the unique use of space and design. These elements should support the performers and story.

Pace matters. Structure matters. I pay close attention to how a play moves. I look for the emotional changes, the build of tension and the key moments. Those moments should land clearly for the audience.

My productions respond to their location and to the community around them. My aim is to balance ambition with clarity. The result is work that is engaging, well-made and attentive to both the people making it and the people watching it.

I’m based in the UK, currently training at East 15 Acting School on the MA Theatre Directing programme.
